Week 2 - Broncos vs. Raiders
|
![]() Dante Culpepper and company came in to town expected to upset the favorite Denver Broncos. It appeared that Culpepper had found a groove after rushing for 50 yards and completing a 50 yard touchdown strike to former Tar Heel Ronald Curry, but Cutler and his crew would quiet the Raiders attempts behind solid defensiveplay from Linebacker Jarvis Moss. |
![]() The Broncos took a huge hit in the second quarter when workhorse Travis Henry turned his ankle over a fierce Raider defender. Henry left the game and did not return. He finished with only 2 carries for 35 yards and 1 catch for a 5 yard touchdown. Selvin Young stepped into the runningback role and had 74 yards on the ground and 1 touchdown that came in the third quarter. Young also had one catch for 3 yards. It is not know when Henry can return to the starting squad. |
